Dr. Shy and Dr. Dewberry are amazing - as is the entire staff! Every person who works at SVH is knowledgeable, friendly, and - above all -cares deeply about treating pets. When I moved to Starkville, I had an elderly cat with a chronic condition, and they jumped in to make sure he never missed a moment of care during the transition. I also have a cat who HATES leaving the house and they do a wonderful job making sure he's healthy even though he is a brat during every appointment. I am always confident my pets (and myself!) are getting the best care in Starkville. Cannot recommend SVH enough!

Dr. Shy and Dr. Dewberry are both amazing vets!! They've provided the best care for my dog Lucy over the years. They are always so great to communicate and keep me updated on Lucy's condition. An added bonus is that the office staff is friendly and helpful. This always makes visiting their office a pleasure!

We've been bringing our dog Rascal to this clinic for the past 6 years, and we're beyond grateful for the care he's received. When we first brought him in, he was struggling with major hair loss and many other health issues. Thanks to Dr. Shy's guidance and treatment plan, his hair has completely transformed and so has his health. It's been incredible to see the difference.

Starkville Veterinary Clinic has made such a lasting impact, and we truly feel like this clinic is part of our family. They also cared for our other dog with such compassion as she crossed the rainbow bridge, and we'll never forget the love they showed.

A big shout out to the front desk staff, too! Ranae, Cindy, and Allie are so helpful and always going above and beyond for us. And we can't forget Lexi - she's an amazing groomer who treats Rascal like her own and always does an awesome job. So talented and caring!

Dr. Shy and his whole staff are so wonderful!! When I moved to town several people recommended them when we were looking for a vet and it's obvious why. They truly care about you and your pets and go the extra mile every single time. I feel very fortunate to have found a practice that's not only great at what they do but they are devoted to providing the best care and treatment.

They are a great place to take your best friends. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are at ease and your pets are taken care of. I only wish my personal doctor and his staff were as accommodating.

Everyone is so caring and helpful. The staff and Dr Shy are so wonderful with my little baby and it makes me feel very confident in her care here.
